Dr Arnold Schetelig1 a physician who has practised in Hong Kong and interested himself much in ethnology is coming to dine with me on Friday next the 5th at 8. If you can excuse so short notice [2] I should be very much gratified if you would come to meet him.

I took the liberty of giving him a note of introduction to you yesterday.
