I have you letter3 of yesterday. I now send you, Spruce's4 Maps, & some notes & sketches, of the Rivers "Pacimoni" & "Cuneunuma” which he ascended for the first time, & which I think no one has been up since. They may be of use to any future traveller in that district who wishes to make a more complete map of it.

P. S. The scale is shown by measurement on one of the sheets, — but of course the whole is only approximate, determined by bearings & rate of canoe travel, estimated frequently, & with long experience.
