Many thanks for your very valuable work on Fishes which is full of instruction and seems to me to be just what was very much wanted & which no one could have done so well as yourself. Thanks also for correcting2 my stupid error, which is a mystery to me, as I have the P.L.S.3 with your original description.

I have sent a note to Nature4 as you suggest.
