Faraday to William Pigott   6 November 1863

[Royal Institution embossed letterhead] | 6 Novr. 1863

Dear Sir

The diagram you refer to1 is I conclude that in the Report of date 26 Octr 1863. My inclination would be (if there be any view to proceedings hereafter) to send Mr Wilkins the diagram at once and not only that but copies of both reports or of the critical parts of them to which the diagram refers.

The fractures of the glass were referred to in my former letter of 20 April 18632[.]

As to my future whereabouts, I now expect to remain in London pretty steadily. I will as you desire draw up my notes of the order of sound for the fog trials in a day or two[.]

I am Dear Sir | Yours Very faithfully | M. Faraday

The Deputy Master | &c &c &c
