Many thanks for the copies of your "Times" letter. I have had a very interesting letter from Mr J.W. Fortescue giving further details about the one-armed boy which make the evidence fairly complete.
I enclose you a copy of a cut of the wild horse with a letter from Mr Scherren [2] with some facts which may be of interest to you, & which please do not return.
